Where does the Place-names come from?This maps are based upon information collected through interviews with Nunavik land users, and with the important contribution of the elders.

Where does the topography in the maps come from ?It is based on the information provided by Natural Resources Canada: CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product produced by Natural Resources Canada. It originates from the best available geospatial data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographic information in vector format complying with international geomatics standards. CanVec contains more than 60 topographic features organized into 8 themes: Transport Features, Administrative Features, Hydro Features, Land Features, Man-Made Features, Elevation Features, Resource Management Features, and Toponymic Features. © Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources, 2016

How do I know if my map has been updated?You can subscribe for updates iat the bottom of this page, we rarely send more than one email per month. Also on the lower right corner of most of maps you can find the number of the Edition.

How much does one map cost?That depends on the size of the map and also on the paper you choose to have it printed: Print: Map from the collections Nunatop 50K, Islands and Villages goes from $45 to $60 CAD.
